DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Air pressure tester is one of the tools used to test the quality of geomembrane welding seams.
The working principle is to fill the pressurized air into the cavity between the two welding seams of the geomembrane, if the pressure gauge pointer does not move for a certain time, the quality of the welding seams is reliable.
It is easy to operate, easy to transport and reliable detection, especially suitable for geomembrane welding seam testing on construction sites.
It is suitable for any type of geomembrane.
Suitable for use in the field in civil construction, tunnels, landfills and other works involving blanket and geomembrane installations.
Does not use energy and has indefinite durability.
HOW AND WHERE TO USE?
- The air pressure tester is a stainless steel hollow needle, it will be bent under improper use. Therefore, when the air pressure tester is inserted into the film material, it should be in the axial direction, do not shake left and right, so as not to break the needle.
- When the ambient temperature is below 15°C, the film material is hard and inconvenient to insert. At this point, a manual heat gun can be used to soften the membrane material and then insert the needle to test.
- The insertion depth of the air pressure tester depends on the length of the welding seams and the leak detection time. If the detection time is longer, the needle can be propelled slowly, to ensure the tightness between the needle and the membrane material, if it can avoid leakage at the needle hole and ensure the smooth completion of the detection work.
- Make sure the test needle and air pump are in good connections. The pump clamp needs to be inserted into the soft air pipe. Press the black lock and then attach the needle valve to the inflatable mouth (similar to the inflatable bicycle)
- Please determine the test needle before sewing test. Use your finger to suppress the hole without any leakage, and then fill it with some air. It is in good condition if the pressure gauge needle remains in the same position after a few minutes.
- Fill pressurized air into the test cavity, if the pressure gauge pointer does not move for a certain time, the quality of welding seams is reliable.
